Proven Experience Delivering Complex MYOB Integrations

MYOB is one of Australia’s most widely adopted ERPs in the retail sector due to its flexible nature and broad support.

Commonly used in medium to large-sized businesses, OSE has extensive experience working with this market segment to understand their business processes, and support each process with an efficient, well-documented technical solution.

When it comes to solutioning your integration; our MYOB integration specialists will hold an in-depth Discovery process with business and technical stakeholders to unearth general requirements and understand all relevant nuances of your business process flows, before we begin solutioning.

At OSE, our success is as a result of doing an appropriate amount of work upfront, with the customer, before diving into technical solutioning. This way, we know exactly how best to deliver a stable and efficient MYOB integration for your business.

Support Your Business with Smarter MYOB Integration Services

Every business has unique challenges when it comes to connecting MYOB with eCommerce.

At OSE, we take the time to understand your specific pain points—whether it’s reconciling inventory, managing customer data, or reducing costly manual processes.

Our integration services are designed with reliability front of mind, supported by New Relic monitoring to log and resolve transaction issues quickly. With 24/7 support available, we ensure your systems remain stable and responsive at all times. By combining a deep understanding of your business with proven technical expertise, OSE delivers MYOB integrations you can trust to drive growth.

Should I try an off-the-shelf MYOB integration?

Experience has taught us to never recommend off-the-shelf integrations unless they’re built by the software vendor themselves. In MYOB’s case, they do not offer an integration with Adobe Commerce, Magento, Shopify or BigCommerce, therefore you should be very careful when considering this route for this critical business process function.

If MYOB was to release an off-the-shelf integration with my eCommerce platform, should I
consider it?

Our approach would be to evaluate this option, however in our experience, these sort of integrations generally only cover basic business functions such as product inventory updates, sales, and identification of new products. What this means is that functionality that your business may require beyond this scope may still be required, so you would be advised to discuss this with OSE to confirm if this approach is right for your business, or potentially a hybrid approach utilising this vendor integration and some customer solutioning.

I’m upgrading to MYOB Acumatica from EXO, what should I be aware of when it comes to my
integration?

Unfortunately there are a lot of differences between the MYOB Acumatica and EXO APIs. This means, when you’re undertaking an integration between MYOB Acumatica and your eCommerce platform, there will be some considerations you need to make. Working with an experienced developer who has integrated Acumatica before is vital to the success of your project. Having EXO knowledge is also key, as the translation of any existing integrations to a newly functional service is also important.

What logging should I implement as part of my MYOB integration?

Implementing logging of both successful and unsuccessful transactions is an important part of connecting your MYOB instance with your eCommerce platform. We recommend logging of orders, then ideally inventory updates, and any change to customer details. However, logging is very specific to each business case, including how this is visualised. Some customers with large I.T departments want to see everything, others are happy just to be notified when an issue occurs, others would like to visualise issues using log management software. At OSE, we have experience setting up logging between MYOB and a variety of eCommerce platforms tailored specifically to your needs, so can work with you to ensure we’re implementing the right balance of transaction logging.
