Peak Marketing is a market leader in the supply, management and distribution of branded merchandise and uniforms across Australasia. Their B2B ordering portal plays a critical role in the business, acting as the primary system for managing customer stock programs across multiple locations and organisational structures.
Today, the portal supports approximately 4,000+ customer accounts in Adobe Commerce (Magento), many of which operate across multiple branches or stores with varying levels of access and approval requirements.
For Peak, the B2B platform is not simply an online store, it is operational infrastructure.
As customer expectations increased and service requirements became more sophisticated, Peak Marketing’s existing platform began to constrain growth.
- Limited scalability as account numbers and program complexity grew
- Functional gaps that did not align with evolving customer requirements
- A system architecture that struggled to keep pace with internal operational needs
- User experience issues impacting both customers and administrators
Beyond technical limitations, there were real commercial risks.
If known issues were not addressed, Peak faced the possibility of lost sales and declining customer confidence, not to mention falling behind fast-growing market competitors. With this in mind, Peak Marketing required;
- A smooth transition for customers
- Minimal downtime during migration
- Careful management of ERP and customer integrations
- User education to ensure adoption of the new system

OSE implemented a new Adobe Commerce B2B portal designed specifically for scalability, flexibility and reliability.
The solution leverages Adobe Commerce’s native B2B feature set to accommodate complex organisational structures and purchasing workflows.
- Company account structures that reflect how customer organisations operate
- Role-based access control across branches, locations and internal teams
- Ordering workflows and approvals aligned to customer purchasing policies
- Customer-specific pricing and catalogue controls
- Integration with ERP and other business-critical systems
Particular attention was given to Peak’s MYOB Acumatica integration, one of the more complex and critical components of the project. The architecture was designed to balance flexibility with long-term maintainability, ensuring the platform can continue to evolve without becoming fragile or overly customised.

Today, the platform supports approximately 4,000+ customer accounts across various stores and programs, providing a strong and scalable foundation for continued growth.
Internally, processes have become more efficient. The new platform enables smoother onboarding of customer programs and more effective management of ongoing account requirements.
- Faster system performance
- Enhanced user-specific functionality
- Improved usability across customer accounts
- Easier backend management for customer setup and daily webstore administration
Beyond the immediate operational benefits, Adobe Commerce has provided Peak with something equally important: optionality.
The scope of features available within the Adobe Commerce ecosystem gives Peak a development pipeline that can continually enhance user experience over time.
The portal is no longer a limitation — it is an enabler.

On-going Value & Partnerhsip
Peak described the project experience as “exciting” and emphasised the importance of ongoing iteration and support.
For a platform of this scale, continuity matters. Having the same team that built the solution available to maintain and extend it ensures platform knowledge is retained and enhancements can be delivered efficiently and confidently.
The B2B portal is not a finished project — it is an evolving asset that will continue to support Peak’s customers and business objectives long term.
When asked what Peak Marketing would say to other B2B organisations considering Adobe Commerce, Peak’s response was clear:
If you’re looking at an enterprise-level platform to build your organisation around, Adobe Commerce is a very strong option.
The customer also noted the importance of researching integrations and external dependencies thoroughly to ensure everything works smoothly end-to-end — a critical consideration in any complex B2B implementation.
